So B. It

So B. It is written by Sarah Weeks and is 245 pages. So B. It is about a girl named Heidi and her "Bum head" mom called So B. It. Her mother only says 23 words in all, and she calls herself So B. It. However it is not her real name. Heidi lives with her mom and her neighbor Bernadette in an apartment building. Her mother says a word that makes Heidi consumed with finding out what it means. And that word is Soof. Bernadette always tells her that there are just some things that a person just can't know. But Heidi is determined to figure out what it means. Bernadette has a phobia of going outside so Heidi is in charge of the grocery shopping and going to the local Suds and Duds when they need some money, even though Heidi is only 12 she finds a way to manage to play the slots--Nickel slots that is. Another thing about Heidi is that she has great luck, no matter if it be playing Nickel Slots, Quarter Slots, Buying Lotto Tickets, playing Heads or Tails, and guessing how many Jelly Beans there are in a jar; she never loses, that is until she makes an unforgettable journey on to find out the meaning of the word soof and to find her grammy, and most importantly to find out her history. Will she?

This book is a beautifully written and crafted novel by Sarah Weeks. The chapters were headed cleverly with the words that Heidi's mom says. I love love LOVE this book, and once you start reading, your heart will make you finish. This book is a book for everybody and every age. The story will captivate your heart and it will leave you crying until the very last page. Everybody that reads this book will leave it feeling great and looking for another novel by Sarah Weeks to read. I guarantee I will be finding some more to read. I give this book two thumbs up. So B. It comes very close to anther one of my favorite books A Corner of the Universe. If you haven't read either of these, go to your local book store and get them because once you read them you will want to read them again and again.
